What is apple really doing?
Well its amazing that apple, can have many court cases against it, court cases going against other large companies, but we still cannot forget that they have some sort of iPad coming in just a few weeks? In the past few weeks we've had leaked photos of a beefier display, new casing, and now even a new logic board (which says a5x instead of a6 though). I'll get to these rumors in a minute. Now apple just happens to be in so many battles still around the world, Samsung, HTC, even Motorola are all at apples throat. Not to mention apple is in the most heated battle of all in Hong Kong (where the major bulk of their devices are manufactured) recently lost a battle against Proview in Hong Kong, Which banned the sales of the great device in a few cities in the region. To me that's a huge hit to the company, you're waging wars with not only one, but two of the companies that help you pump out these great devices. Samsung and proview respectively. Apple always seems to dig themselves in a hole but due to the fact that they stick to few endeavors, they always, ALWAYS come out with the win, per say.
Now the info provided, just now was solely intended to bring you up to speed with the rumors coming out for the next iPad, whatever variant it may be. Now apple is a company of refreshes aren't they? The original iPod had many refreshments from the original to the mini's which both earned refreshments, the mini of course being completely replaces by the nano, and then the original iPod Being completely replaced by the generation of iTouch's altogether. Albeit you can still have that great click wheeled iPod just deemed classic nowadays. If im correct it only comes in one size though 160 gb. But if you have an entire cloud filed with music and movies, im pretty sure you can fill that little puppy up. But i digress, I took this quick trip down memory lane because as apple has done with the ipods, and iphones (3g to 3gs and 4 to 4s) i see the fellas out of Cupertino doing something as similar with this next iPad. Now earlier i provided a link to another rumor about the next ipad. Even though they have the next retina display for 'an' iPad i feel the rumor may be more true of the smaller form factor. The affordable factor with the apple branding on it. Apple is infamous for these ideas, from the 4s coming out all the original versions of the 4 are affordable...The iPods have always been affordable via the iPod nanos, you can have a desktop computer with the apple branding and great power through the apple mini. And even (after searching the internet just a little) you can have a MacBook for under 1k in the form of a Macbook air! Apple always build premium products, and then brings those premium products the the "less fortunate". Why not make the ipad with a smaller screen, but still posses all that strength we know only apple can provide? I mean an 8 inch 8gb ipad with this a5x chip that we've caught reports of.....with an affordable 16gb variant. Lets say 349 and 449 respectively, and now the masses can walk into a room and say "I have an iPad". Access to the iTunes and app store. And all the amenities that come along with the apple brand.
Now I'm not saying its certain and its probably really not, but keep in mind that the 4s came out when we all were so sure the 5 was the next handset in line. What I'm saying is its time for the affordable iPad and that i would not be blown away if the iPad2s was revealed in the upcoming weeks. And the actual 3 revealed in the summer months. All i know is if the iPadS or 2s or an s variant is revealed it will be affordable and ill be the first in line....Don't quote me on that being the next iPad though but down the line an affordable one will be produced, that is for certain.

An unlikely union? (Completely hypothetical)

Earlier...i happened to b locked in a very excellent conversation. The conversation was all over the place, we were bouncing all type of ideas around, speaking on future devices coming out for grand companies. HTC, LG, we were speaking about a little bit of everything. Then i spoke on lightsquared, and a grand idea landed...

This would technically be a joint article so...that person knows that they wrote it mainly not i. But in the middle of this conversation they said...what if T-Mobile and sprint merged, i mean T-Mobile has been looking to sell for quite awhile. When they said that...i began to think, it would be an excellent idea, but how does that work? A cdma network, an a GSM network merging? Does it really work out? Well i mean...originally wasn't Nextel that type of network? With similar cards...switch the card out when you received a new device? Dont quote me...but lets break this down. Recently sprint receives the iPhone (okay its been a little while now) they spent more than they made getting the iPhone, but they did receive a great amount of new subscribers thanks to them landing the iPhone... In the long run if they retain subscribers they make some if that money back so it would be fine. But on the shirt term they need something to help them...

On the other hand T-Mobile...theyve been doing solid" no negative news has been coming out about them, they have lte and everything. They manage their bandwidth with limits which is really a smart idea. They know what they're doing .....sprint is in the middle of launching their lte network so if they merge and share lte networks they bring subscribers over and pique all kinds if interest. Not to mention, sprint has a deal with lightsquared to launch even more lte, now lightsquared has been trying to get up for quite awhile now, an upstart lte company looking to setup with sprint now and grow uncontrollably ... Couple that with a merger with T-Mobile and you have one of the greatest companies of all time ...2 slightly large companies merging, with 3rd party support they could actually rival Verizon....which most time i never understand how Verizon owns so many subscribers their prices are insane...but you get what you pay for they truly are the most reliable network. That is the truth their call quality is top notch. They keep the selection of phones in constant rotation...which is actually a bad thing but they make it work for them. Sprint doesn't have the pull to continue releasing devices at this speed (and neither does T-Mobile)

Now this is just an idea between two people something like this really happening .... Is slim to none as far as chances...but think about it as we did you never know with our economy what may happen.

HTC sees bad 4th quarter earnings?
OK i just read a small article over at engadget that says...HTC stutters in 4q earnings...which is awkward because up until the 4th quarter of the year...HTC had i beloved record earnings (id have to check that data) but either way I'm going to go into depth...consumer wise why they stuttered.
Now, the article read lack of lte devices...is that because of the couple devices on sprint being wimax...actually no...there aren't too many HTC devices available for big red....so when you connect the data of 4 minimum wimax devices for sprint and then the couple for big red and att, at least in America...you figure out how bad it is...But you have to look at it on a worldwide scale. How many overseas companies provide lte capabilities? I need to answer that question myself...later on i will...maybe in another article. Now also this article spoke to the build of devices, being bulky and owning bad battery life...but they do use qhd screen and higher power soc...sadly they are still in the 32nm snapdragon category while others are moving vastly into the 28nm category...honestly that makes a difference as does qhd screens against amoled .... Which is sadly becoming the norm now...everyone is making that transition to amoled screens...which boats amazing energy consumption.
I for one appreciate a stronger bulky feel, ive held razrs, galaxy s2 and other very slim devices...the iPhone 4 happens to be oje of those thin devices with a premium hefty build...that consumers love...so why do we look down on the bulky HTC built phones? Its weird if you ask me...im gonna keep my eye on HTC and see how they roll out of this funk.

WebOs revisited.
Hey guys...guess whose back. Yes yes, i know I've been mia ...or on a hiatus, label it what you will. And i do apologize wither way. But I'm back. Sadly ive missed tons of news in my field of future expertise. The #1 thing I've missed that i wantes to keep a close eye on was webos and the future moves the HP branded os would make. Now a few days ago...Friday i believe, released the beggining of a new era webos enyo 1.0.
Now i wont lie i know nothing about the release, i do not know if its an update...or a complete new build of the old os on the new open source kernel. But i love them throwing caution to the wind early. Shipping it out while the getting is good, I don't know if the iron is hot, but they are striking any way it goes. And i completely agree with what they are doing. Now the truth of the matter is. Even if webos fails completely HP will be able to live on through windows 8....they just may no longer have a mobile phone platform. Which will be fine. They can do just fine as a company without the phone portion of themselves. I am rooting for HP either way and will have my eye on them in the coming months....thanks for reading guys and once again. Im back ^_^
