As verizon expands to over 30 new cities...and Sprint launches in 15 southern cities in recent weeks. Questions truly arise, which 4g carrier is for you? I have sprint myself which is still boasting the old and needs to be retired wimax...Oh wait its currently in the works to be phased out. I have the blessing aside from that to know someone who has a device on all 4 major carriers, the comments I hear from them are comical at best...But the trials and tribulations are what I'm here to explain to you.
Now my cousin has T-Mobile, the select device he has is a HTC Sensation 4g, which was just upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. The funny thing is that he is constantly contacting me asking me how can he speed up his device. I always offer him some tips to get it together but the fact is there is a lot of of data drainage in our market. See we live in Cleveland, ohio...Him more towards the lake which im sure definitely influences his data speeds. Personally i know when i go over my grandma house who is in the same are...my 3g and 4g are just...Infuriating (to keep words in a mature perspective) now the few pointers I've provided him, eased some of his stress but until T-Mobile begins their lte upgrade? Im certain his stress will continue. Now i know plenty individuals who own Verizon, Beside some spotty outages here and there I've never heard anything negative from their consumers. It is true that Verizon has the most reliable network, I mean I've even witnessed their devices work in huge metal walk in fridges. Its amazing what their network can pull off, 3g wise and 4g wise. Their lte is so responsive...its super technology...(ok maybe im jumping the gun but, its definitely top notch). Now so far sprint has their wimax network, yet they're in the transitioning phase for lte...They just launched in over 30 southern cities, so i guess if you're in a large southern market you've been blessed...Because I'm sure you already knew it was launching and went ahead and purchased their lte devices. The awkward thing that i don't understand is (well i do honestly) is why did sprint push their 4g network to their pay as you go service boost? This means they strain their network, which lets face it has been straining for quite a while now. I understand that on the far end you an make some money back off of the failed investment, But at the same time you risk losing customers. I have been a faithful sprint customer for close to 2 years, i have to say I'm ok with their service, I just wish that their phone selection was a little more broad. They have made a boost with the HTC evo4g Lte and the Galaxy s3...but lets face it those 2 devices were launching on all carriers in one way or another.
Now to the last (but not least) 4g carrier...Att? which is only available in a select 40+ markets...My mom has att and i must say they have good service, but besides good service (and excellent customer service) Their data? isn't that good, and its quite expensive, for a carrier that will cap and limit you... For those of you who may not know Att and T-mobile caps your data at at certain points and then revert you to the next lowest speed...att is 4g down to 3g and t-mobile in some cases will return you all the way down to the frustrating EDGE. I know we all hear from all carriers, my 4g is best, our 4g is fastest, From speed tests supposedly t-mobile is the fastest...Yet isn"t the most stable sadly...Verizon says the most reliable, which is the truth the least dropped calls, it works in the most hapless of places. Besides their hiccups they rarely have outrageous outages. This isn't a promo for verizon, I'm just assisting you guys out there for when you see the commercials...If you really ask, Are they telling the truth? Verizon is and T-mobile is, they just dont provide the disclaimer saying doesn't always work when you want it to. The decision is yours who you choose and if you're already with a carrier and you're satisfied? By all means stay with them but if you're on the hunt to switch? I have just armed you with more knowledge.

Apple? #BoycottApple
OK...Ok...Good evening guys, good evening. OK I'm certain you guys remember my rant quite a while back about apple and their quest to stomp all other competition by constantly suing them? And I'm also sure you guys remember the proview injunction against apple and the iPad in china? Proview claimed they patented the name iPad, and they had the courts in their favor to halt sales against apples great tablet...Well of course this injunction continued for a few months, and apple just dished out 60 million dollars to proview, they were asking for upwards of half a billion but apple quickly settled for the 60 million. BUT THAT ISN'T WHY IM HERE TODAY...
Immediately after reading this news, I continued my scrubbing of news feeds, and the one article that caught my eye? JUDGE GRANTS APPLE TEMPORARY BAN OF GALAXY NEXUS (IN US). Now even if you've been living under a rock, it's impossible to miss the news centered around apple lately, and I'm speaking in general. From questionable sales, to news that not many consumers are on their side...To just recently #BoycottApple being the #1 topic on Google+. Now i can understand how fear sets in for apple, especially with Samsung more than likely being their #1 facing competition. With the newest news out of google i/o about jelly bean, Apple did choose a great time to win in the courts for a ban. It still doesn't necessarily hurt Samsung, but i can see how apple would fear them with the release of jelly bean, and the price drop for unlocked Galaxy Nexus in the Play store, albeit the Gnex in the play store is GSM only.
More scrubbing of the news, i learned that the successor to the Galaxy note Will be released, and the original date of released moved up to and ahead of the iPhone 5. One more reason i can understand that apple would be fearful of Sammy's power. To be honest, i cannot understand how the courts can grant the ban against sammy, the total dispute would be against the operating system in terms of android correct? Or is it because touchwiz uses a branded version of android? I understand this article references apple, but with apple suing all competition, I have to bring others into the discussion, HTC, Motorola, Samsung. Since the untimely death of jobs, apple has just been walking blind, They released the new macbook with retina, but they also raised the price by 400$ and it doesn't eve arrive in a 13 inch flavor meaning the new macbook is 400$ more than THE OLD 15inch macbook. I've seen many consumers that i follow on twitter already uploaading photos of them unboxing their new macbooks, but simultaneously apple removed the optical drive to make the device more portable. SO now, on top of paying 400 extra bucks pretty much for the screen alone, you also have to fork over extra money for an external drive. I mean i understand cloud technology is booming right now, but all consumers still aren't comfortable yet.
In this time where windows may make a comeback, and many consumers are possibly jumping ship to android. Apples following is beginning to dwindle down to longtime cult fans. They still provide premium products, at the continued premium price, which is still UNACCEPTABLE. I still say apple meeds to release the ipad mini, and follow suite with amazon kindle fire and the now nexus 7 tablet brought to us by asus and google. But i guess they really do not want to do that huh? It honestly needed to be done this year. Who cares about the iPhone5?
